Existing members of Manly Warringah Football Referees Association are now able to register for 2026!
It is important that you carefully read through the instructions below to ensure that your registration is completed correctly.
This year, the Management Committee again requests that you complete a compulsory Laws of the Game Quiz as part of the registration process. Your registration will not be approved unless your quiz result is 80% or higher (16/20 questions). The purpose of the quiz is to encourage your re-engagement with the Laws of the Game and local playing rules in the months leading up to the season and to make you aware of recent changes. You may complete the quiz as many times as you wish to achieve the 80% threshold. Your results will not be shared, however, the Management Committee will analyse members’ results to determine where future education and training efforts should be focused.

Working with Children Check
Referees 18 years and over must have an Employee Working with Children Check (WWCC) before registration can be approved. This is FNSW policy. To obtain a WWCC, apply on-line at ServiceNSW for an Employee WWCC (ie not a volunteer WWCC). Download the application and visit a ServiceNSW outlet to provide proof of ID and pay the $80 fee. The WWCC lasts for 5 years. Referees without a valid WWCC will not be approved to referee in 2024. If you turn 18 during the season, you must obtain your WWCC as soon as you turn 18.
Please note: Team Referees do not require a WWCC.
ID Photos
All referees must provide a current passport-style ID photograph. The photograph should be of head and shoulders only, looking directly at the camera, with no hats or glasses and preferably have a plain background. Registration will not be approved until an appropriate photo has been uploaded.
