Summer Soccer Schedule
All currently registered MWFRA referees are eligible to officiate on competitions where we have been asked to provide referees. If you were not registered for 2026 but have current referee accreditation, or were registered with another association, please contact [email protected]

The MWFRA will be partnering with the following summer soccer competitions to provide referees.

Cromer Summer Soccer (Monday – Friday)
- Junior games kick off at 4.20 and referees must be available for 4 games until 7.00pm
- Senior games kick off at 6.20 and referees will be appointed to 4-5 games
- All referees must be available for the duration of the competition
- Dribl will be used for availabilitity, appointments and Match sheets
- You will be required to wear your BLACKreferee shirt, black MWFRA shorts and socks.

Narrabeen SHS (Tuesday – Friday)

Wakehurst Summer Soccer (Monday)
- 1st year referees need to be available from 3.30 to assist with set-up and will be appointed to minimum of 2 games.
- Other junior referees can also be appointed to set-up and the earliest games or later games and will be appointed to 2-3 games.
- Senior games kick off at 7.15 and referees will be appointed to 3 games
- Paper match sheets will be provided by Wakehurst on the day and need to be returned to the desk at the end of the referees games
- You will be required to wear your BLACK referee shirt, MWFRA shorts and socks.
- Match fees are $25.00 per game for U6-U11 and $30 per game for U12 and above.. Referees who assist with set-up will be paid an additional $10.00.
- Referees should be available for the following blocks: 3.45 to 5.30pm (set-up and 2 games), 5.25 to 7:15pm (3 games) or 7:15 to 9.10pm (3 games, seniors only).
Wakehurst Summer Soccer (Tuesday)
- 1st year referees need to be available from 3.50pm to assist with set-up and will be appointed to minimum of 2 games.
- Other junior referees can also be appointed to set-up and the earliest games or later games and will be appointed to 2-3 games.
- Senior games kick off at 7.15 and referees will be appointed to 3 games
- Paper match sheets will be provided by Wakehurst on the day and need to be returned to the desk at the end of the referees games
- You will be required to wear your BLACK referee shirt, MWFRA shorts and socks.

Forest Killarney (Monday)
- Junior referees will be appointed to 2-4 games from 4.30pm. You must be able to arrive at the field by 4.15pm
- Senior referees 3 games from 6.45pm
- Dribl is used for availability, appointments and matchsheets

- Match Fees are $25 for U6-U11 (games are shorter) and $30 for U12 and above
- You will be required to wear your BLACK referee shirt, MWFRA shorts and socks.
- Referees should be available from 4:30 to 6:45pm (3 games) or 6:45 to 9.10pm (3 games, seniors only)
Forest Killarney (Friday)
- Junior referees will be appointed to 2-3 games from 5.00pm.
- Senior referees 3 games from 6.40pm

- You will be required to wear your BLACK referee shirt, MWFRA shorts and socks.
- Match Fees are $25 for U6-U11 (games are shorter) and $30 for U12 and above
- Referees should be available from 5:00pm to 6:40 (2 games) or 6.40 to 9.10pm (3 games, seniors only)
Match Fees
- All match fees are paid by EFT on the Monday/Tuesday following the previous week
- Referees are paid for forfeits if they occur in the middle of their appointments or they are notified once already at the field. Forfeits are not paid if the referee is notified prior to arriving at the field and it is their first or last appointment.
- No payment is made for games cancelled due to wet weather unless cancellation occurs at the field. Only the first appointment will be paid.
Availability Requirements
- Referees are expected to be available each week of the competition. Preference will be given to referees who are regularly available during the competition and who have been regularly available during the winter season.
- Referees should enter their preferred venue in the notes section of availability. You will be appointed to your preferred venue unless there is an oversupply at one venue and an undersupply at another.
- Referees will be required to enter your availability into Dribl by 5pm Friday prior to the next week. Appointments will be published Sunday afternoon.
- Lionel Watts – availability and appointment communication will be via MatchRef. Instuctions on how to use MatchRef will be forwarded closer to the start of the competition.
