The FFA Australian Officiating Development Schedule (AODS) (2016) is the foundation document for football officiating in Australia.

The AODS outlines the career pathways and professional development of all match officials and their supporting colleagues.

This includes documenting all football and futsal referee, referee assessor and referee instructor classifications and courses as well as the broad protocols and processes to manage the accreditation process.

The AODS is complemented by the Match Official Policies and Procedures Manual (2014), which outlines the policies and procedures governing the development, accreditation and registration of match officials throughout Australia.

This includes documenting the general administration of football officiating in Australia, the registration of match officials and the accreditation of match officials.
