Thank you for your interest in refereeing with the MWFRA. We are an organisation with over 600 passionate members with a vast range of football experiences, who are responsible for providing referees for U12 to adult matches sanctioned by the Manly Warringah Football Association. Please follow the links below to learn how to become a referee.
The MWFRA conducts entry level courses prior to the beginning of each local football season in February and March.
These courses are officially sanctioned by Football Federation Australia and participants will obtain the FFA Level 4 Referee Accreditation upon successful completion of the course.
This level of accreditation enables holders to be appointed by the MWFRA to any officially sanctioned match, though appointment to matches at higher levels will depend on technical competence.
Entry level courses are open to both adults and children but prospective junior referees in 2022 must be at least 14 years of age on December 31, 2022 to be eligible to undertake the course.
This form is an Expression of Interest only. People who submit an EoI will receive an email in January 2022 requesting them to submit an Application Form for the upcoming February and March 2022 referee courses.
